
Paula Cantu has over nine years of experience inhealthcare, with a strong background in cardiac and critical care nursing. Shebegan her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Cardiac Intensive CareUnit, working closely with registered nurses to support patient care. She lateradvanced to a Cardiac Monitor Technician role, where she monitoredelectrocardiograms and oversaw cardiac rhythms for more than 70 patients.
While working full-time, Paula earned herBachelor of Science in Nursing from Galen College of Nursing. Upon graduation,she accepted a position in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, where she haspracticed for the past five years. Two years into her nursing career, she waspromoted to Clinical Nurse Coordinator, a leadership role in which shesupervised nursing staff and helped manage the daily operations of a 30-bedunit. While also being the rapid response and code blue nurse lead for theentire hospital.
Paula recently earned her Master of Science inNursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Chamberlain University. She isboard-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is anactive member of the organization. She is passionate about providinghigh-quality, patient-centered care and is excited to transition from thehospital setting into outpatient clinical practice. Outside of work, Paulaenjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Our office is conveniently located off of Loop 410, with free, on-site parking just outside our freestanding facility. Patients can easily access our clinic, ensuring a smooth and timely experience from door-to-door.
